Only a few things to report. On Saturday, we went to a barbecue picnic thing behind the building as a celebration of a friend’s birthday. The weather was nice and the food was decent. We made ham pickle creamcheese rolls, which most people thought were odd, except for those from Wisconsin or Minnesota. Everyone decided that the rolls needed a name, like pigs in a blanket or something like that, so we decided on “gherkins in a straight jacket.” The cream cheese is the crazy. We sat outside for a while.
On Sunday, Linz held a marathon race, so we briefly went to take a look at that, then we went to Happy Fit to get our exercise on. Then we had some food and watched “Tron: Legacy.” I didn’t really like it, but I can’t really articulate why. For sure, the computer animated Jeff Bridges was irritating. Will didn’t like it either.
School won’t be very busy this week because some classes are canceled and the teacher I work with most is abroad; he’ll be abroad for a while. I have my German class tonight and Wednesday. Choir Tuesday evening, an hour lesson with kids on Wednesday, and a few hours with the grown ups on Friday. Sometime in there, I might meet with a lady I’m helping with English. Then on Sunday, the parents will be here, which will make for a busy week.
